Strictly Come Dancing unveils stand-up comic Jayde Adams as the next contestant for 2022

It wouldn’t be unfair to say Jayde Adams is probably not known to the majority of the Strictly audience but could the Bristolian comedian have a few surprises up her Serious Black Jumper?

Known As:

Jayde is a stand-up comedian (currently performing at the Edinburgh Fringe). She’s recorded an Amazon Comedy Special called Serious Black Jumper.

As well as stand-up, Jayde has acted in Alma’s Not Normal and has a role in forthcoming Take That movie Greatest Days.

Previous Dance Experience?

This is where Jayde might be a bit of a dark horse. She went to her aunt’s freestyle disco dancing classes with her sister for thirteen years so no stranger to routines.

And here she is exploring dance in all its many forms.

Although Jayde is a bit of a lesser-known celeb, her previous dance experience and a willingness to throw herself into a performance could stand her in good stead.
