Strictly 2022: Week 10 Results show

The Strictly results are in and one couple won’t be heading to Musicals week.

Next week is Strictly‘s Musicals Week and they’ll be saying Willkommen! Bienvenue! Welcome! to all the couples…except one. Who will we be saying So Long, Farewell to, tonight?

But first a professional group numbers where Katya transformed a black and white world into one of colour. Answers on a postcard if you have the foggiest….

Bit of a surprise to see Fleur in the dance off… again the middle of leader board on a tie is such a dangerous place to be this year.

But first, music from *checks notes* Joel Corry and Tom Grennan complete with some manic dancing from Vito and Karen. Hope he can get his breath back for the dance off.

A quick plug for the new game show by the Hooded Claude. Traitors, apparently. Looks like fun.

Ellie’s first time in the bottom two…and perhaps last time as surely Fleur is a better dancer with a better dance to perform. Although we have to say Ellie’s jive was much better – looks as if she was really enjoying it.

Why did Ellie Taylor go?

Yes, we’ll admit it – we’re a bit teary after that. Ellie and Johannes must have received a lot of public support throughout the competition this year as they had frequently been at or near the bottom of the leader board on the Judges’ scores but had avoided the dance off until now.

A popular and likable contestant and a well-balanced partnership with Johannes has helped Ellie reach Week 10 – but perhaps she had reached as far as she could go in terms of dance ability. Her jive was not good – although to be fair to her, who could have danced a decent jive to that music!

For all of Anton’s suggestions that Ellie could make a good musical theatre performer, it is a rather cruel irony that she leaves Strictly just ahead of musicals week.
